Modernist artist David Kakabadze was a painter, a graphic artist and a photographer as well as a stage and set designer. Besides, he was making artistic decoration of public holidays. During 1910-20 he was making collages, cubist and watercolor works. He is also known for his Imereti landscapes - landscapes of his motherland.
