The main impression came from the artworks is abandoning everything, entering a state of mind and body that embraces the wonder and joy of existence, that fills the spirit and sparks the fire of love. It is romantic, pure, a natural state of being that we have become alienated from. The modern condition is drowning us in the plastic materialism of our age. Meskhi is here to remind us that not everything is lost. We just need to discover ourselves, break the shackles of our humdrum lives and embrace the magic of being human.
David Meskhi is a photographer based in Berlin, Germany. He was born in 1979 in Tbilisi, Georgia. After gaining a Master’s Degree in Hydro ecology, Meskhi decided to change his profession entirely and turned to art.
