How do I search for artworks, artists on Project ArtBeat?

To search for a specific artist or artwork, enter your terms in the search box located at the top left hand corner of the website and click the magnifying glass icon. To explore all available artworks, click the Browse link in the white navigation bar. On the Browse page you will be given the option to sort and filter results by price, medium, size, etc.To view all artists, click the Artists link in the white navigation bar.

How often are new artworks published?

It varies from artist to artist.

How do I know if an item is available?

All items are available for sale unless indicated as "Sold." If you encounter a sold item and you wish to be notified if it becomes available please contact our team info@projectartbeat.com

How do I know when new artworks by artists I like become available?

You will receive an email alerts when artworks by the artists you "follow" are added to the site. To follow an artist, visit the artist's bio page and click the "Follow" link.

How do I know that the artwork is authentic?

Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia will issue a certificate that the artwork is authentic.

What is a Certificate of Authenticity?

It is a document proving that an item is made by the artist mentioned and that it is not a copy.   

What is a print?

A print is a work of graphic art which has been conceived by the artist to be realized as an original work of art, rather than a copy of a work in another medium. Prints are produced by drawing or carving an image onto a hard surface such as a wood block, metal plate, or stone. This surface is then inked and the image is transferred to paper by the application of pressure, thus creating aprint.

Are the artworks exactly as I see them in the images online?

Yes, the artworks are exactly the same as you see them in the images online.

What framing options does Project ArtBeat offer?

Project ArtBeat ships artworks without a frame but we do offer framing services to our customers on selected artwork from our website. If you wish to frame your artwork please contact us before we ship your order.However, if an artist frames the artwork then the frame becomes a part of the artwork and we sell it with the frame.

How can I best care for my artwork?

From whom do I buy the artworks?

You buy the artworks from our team, but the artworks are with artists. We ensure safe delivery for you.

Why should I create an account and do I have to create an account to purchase an artwork?

It's necessary to create an account in order to purchase an artwork.

What should I do if I forget my password?

To reset your  Project ArtBeat password, click the Login link located in the site header and then click "Forgot Password." You will be asked to enter your email address where you will receive password recovery information. Doing so, click "Submit." You will be sent information on your email address and use it to recover and officially change your password.

Will the personal information I provide be secured?

Yes, your personal information will be secured by Project ArtBeat.

May I save my favourite artworks?

Yes, you can save your favourite artworks in the album.

How can I create an Album?

After seeing the artwork, you will press the button "Add to Favorites". By doing so you will be asked to create a new album or add to the existing one and then click "submit".

Can I view the artwork in person prior to purchase? 

We are unable to offer viewing artworks prior to purchase. Please press our "View in a Room" button for a more detailed look at an object. This button is located on the artwork detail page.

How do I make a purchase?

Unless indicated as "Sold," all artworks on the site are for sale and available to purchase directly through the site. To make a purchase, visit the detail page for the artwork you wish to buy and click "Add to Cart." You can access Your Cart at any time by clicking the Cart page link, which is located in at the top right hand corner of the website. From the Cart page, you can proceed the checkout process by selecting payment method (credit card). If you are not signed in to Project ArtBeat upon purchase, you will be prompted either to do so or to create an Project ArtBeat account if you are not already registered.

Which means of payment are accepted? 

Only credit card payment method is accepted.

Can I change the currency setting on Project ArtBeat?

No, it is only in USD.

How do I get a voucher?

Projectartbeat team will email it to you up on your request.

How do I redeem a voucher?

Each voucher will have a unique code, which can be redeemed on www.projectartbet.com.

When will my work be delivered?

We offer you two kinds of transportation via DHL and Georgian Post. 
If you choose DHL service your artwork will be proceed to ship within 2-3 business days upon your request and after this procedure the artwork will be delivered to you within 3-5 business days by DHL. Please note that DHL includes insurance costs in its service.
While if you choose Georgian Post service your artwork will be proceed to ship within 2-3 business days upon your request and after this procedure the artwork will be delivered to you within 5-10 business days by Georgian Post. Please note that Georgian Post does not include insurance costs in its service as it does not have any insurance package. Transportation within Georgia is free.

Are the works packed appropriately for shipping?

Yes, all the artworks are appropriately packed for shipping.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping costs are determined based on the price, dimensions, and weight of the artwork purchased, as well as by the work's origin and the shipping destination. To estimate shipping costs on your order, add the desired artwork(s) to your shopping cart and enter your shipping address on your cart page.

How is tax calculated on my purchase?

Tax is automatically included in shipping fees and covers door-to-door handling. However, if there is any additional tax in your country, Project ArtBeat does not take responsibility for this.

How is shipping insurance calculated?

If you choose DHL service insurance will be automatically included in shipping fees and it covers door-to-door handling as well as the price of the artwork. If shipped through Georgian Post the artwork is not covered by insurance.

When will my order ship and be delivered?

Are shipments tracked?

Yes, shipments are tracked.

Do I need to sign for my package upon delivery?

All packages must be accepted and signed for upon delivery. Due to the valuable nature of artworks, Project ArtBeat packages should not be left unattended. If you choose DHL service it's compulsory to sign packages upon delivery, but recipient's signature is not obligatory. Subscriber should not be underage person.

Can I order more than one work at a time?

Yes, you can simultaneously order as much work as you wish to purchase in case shipping destination is the same. Otherwise we cannot offer this service.

What are your return and cancellation policies?

Artworks are not eligible for return and cannot be cancelled at any time once an order is placed.

What is a Customized artwork?

Our customers are offered  different types of services. You will see a link "Customized" in the white navigation bar where our services are presented.  For example, you can order us to paint an artwork by a specific artist.

What is a Private collection?

We offer private collections sent by people from their private collections.These pictures may not be from only contemporary Georgian art.

What are Project ArtBeat Exhibitions?

Project ArtBeat Exhibitions mean various online art exhibitions where visitors will have a great opportunity to see artworks and buy them.

What is Project ArtBeat News?

Project ArtBeat News  means  a blog where articles about contemporary Georgian art and artists will be presented. We also offer video interviews with famous or young artists and art critics, which aims making contemporary Georgian art and artists internationally known.
